These are from the former “Grucci Fireworks” property, of work currently in progress (12/03/2016).
In 1983, disaster struck the company when an explosion at the company’s factory in Bellport, NY killed two family members and 24 were injured, heavily damaged dozens of nearby homes. As a result, the company moved its operations from Bellport to Yaphank, NY, a more secluded area.
